Route n8n, Zapier & Make through Jents

No-code automations call AI through a built-in "OpenAI" connection. Point that connection at Jents and every step routes through the gateway — exact cost, attributed to this automation.

1. Create the source in Jents

Capture AI source → "AI you build or run" → "Yes — I can point it at a URL." Name it (e.g. "Lead enrichment — n8n") and create it. Jents gives you a gateway URL; Provision the key on the source's Keys tab. Copy both.

2. Point the tool's AI connection at Jents

The gateway is OpenAI-compatible, so use the tool's OpenAI credential and override its base URL.

n8n

1. Credentials → New → OpenAI.
2. API Key → your Jents key.
3. Base URL → your gateway URL.
4. Use that credential in your OpenAI / AI Agent nodes.

Zapier

In the OpenAI (or "API Request") step, set the API key to your Jents key and the base URL / endpoint to your gateway URL.

Make

In the OpenAI module's connection, set the API key to your Jents key and the Base URL to your gateway URL.

3. Run it and confirm

Trigger the automation once. The source's Keys tab flips to "Working ✓" and spend appears in Observability.

If a tool only lets you paste an API key (no base-URL field), it can't be routed — track it as a subscription instead.
